Mysterious Object Over Denver Video, The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a mysterious flying object that nearly caused a mid-air collision Monday evening over Denver, according to NBC affiliate KUSA.com.
The FAA says it has reviewed radar and audio recordings from the reported incident and hasn’t found what it calls unidentified targets.

Vegas Hotel Worker Fired For Saying Bye Bye Instead Of Good-Bye, Melodee Megia was fired from her job at a luxury Las Vegas resort casino in September 2011, allegedly for saying “bye-bye” on the phone instead of “goodbye.” But after enduring months of jokes and insults about her pregnancy, the eight-months-along Megia had her suspicions. She’s now filed a lawsuit against the hotel, alleging pregnancy discrimination and labor law violations.
Megia, 37, started working at The Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino in Las Vegas in November 2010, answering the phone when guests called for room service, and occasionally assisting in room deliveries. When she started showing signs of pregnancy in March 2011, her supervisor started making derogatory comments about it, and giving her dirty looks, according to the complaint. Continue reading
Baby Boomers And Hepatitis C Test, It’s a “silent epidemic,” an “unrecognized health crisis,” according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And it’s affecting 2.1 million baby boomers in the United States.
The CDC announced Friday that it is considering recommending Hepatitis C testing for everyone born between 1945 and 1965. Currently the CDC recommends this testing only for those who are at-risk – people who participated in intravenous drug use or had a blood transfusion before 1992, when screening was implemented. Travolta Case John Doe #2 Drops Out, The second masseur who accused John Travolta of sexual battery dropped his lawsuit against the Hollywood star on Thursday and hired celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, who said she may file a new complaint in a different court.
Allred now represents the Atlanta-based man, known as John Doe No. 2, as well as the original Travolta sexual battery accuser, a Texas masseur known as John Doe No. 1.
“We believe that the lawsuit should be filed in another court and, therefore, the lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice,” Allred said in a statement. “We will be conferring with our client regarding what will happen next in this case.” Continue reading
